About Coupon CEO

Clear coupon codes, without the runaround

Coupon CEO was founded by Luke Antony, a Netherlands-born savings obsessive who believes a good deal should be easy to claim and easy to understand.

Why Luke built it

Luke Antony grew up in the Netherlands, a country where hunting for value is woven into everyday culture — from supermarket flyers to energy tariffs to the way families plan holidays. From a young age he noticed that the people who saved the most were rarely the ones chasing every flashy deal. They were the ones who read the fine print, compared the real total cost, and asked the awkward question: "Would I still buy this without the bonus?"

After years of watching friends and family get burned by "free" sign-up credits that disappeared into fees, minimum spends, or accounts they never really wanted, Luke became quietly obsessed with the gap between advertised offers and reality. He spent weekends testing referral flows, reading terms for crypto exchanges, meal kits, ride shares, and investment apps, and keeping spreadsheets of what actually landed in the account versus what the ads promised.

Coupon CEO was born from that obsession and a frustration with existing coupon sites. Too many of them treat the code like the story. You see the big number, click, and only later discover the strings. Luke wanted a single place where the code is front and centre but the surrounding review tells you the full picture — eligibility, real steps, what can go wrong, and whether the offer is even relevant to the way most people actually use the service.

He believes saving money online should feel empowering, not like a second job or a gamble. The best offers are the ones that reward behaviour you were already considering. Coupon CEO exists to help everyday savvy shoppers — busy parents, first-time investors, small business owners, students — cut through the noise and only spend their attention (and their money) on the deals that genuinely make sense.

The site now covers dozens of categories because the same principles apply everywhere: food delivery, finance apps, crypto on-ramps, VPNs, fashion, groceries. Each brand gets four supporting pieces so readers can choose the angle that matches their question. Luke is still the main writer and editor because the voice has to stay consistent: friendly, slightly irreverent, never salesy, and always on the reader's side.

The Coupon CEO method

Code first, context always

Every offer page is built around the same shopper questions: what is the reward, who qualifies, what step unlocks it, what can go wrong, and where should someone verify the latest terms before signing up.
